Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a retail version of Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza on DVD. This disc contains six episodes. Winter, Christmas, and Hanukkah are covered in these episodes. The shows featured on Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza are Blue's Clues & You!, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, Paw Patrol, and Baby Shark's Big Show. You might notice there are five shows and six episodes. Paw Patrol has two episodes on the Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza disc. There will be spoilers in this review.

The names of the episodes on the Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza DVD disc are A Blue's Clues Festival of Lights, A Blazing Amazing Christmas, Christmas is Coming, Pups Save a Snowbound Cow, Pups Save the Marooned Mayors, and Snowball Bonanza. It takes one hundred and six minutes to watch Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza from start to finish. The Paw Patrol and the Baby Shark's Big Show episodes really have nothing to do with any holidays. I can see where that might confuse some families. Just like when companies tell us something releases holiday in a certain year - we have no idea what date range they are talking about since there are so many holidays.

We listen our readers here at Family Friendly Gaming. We get this question all the time when it comes to any entertainment relating to Christmas - "Is Jesus Christ referenced at all?" The answer to that question for Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza is no. Santa Claus is shown and referenced within Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza multiple times. Nothing about the true meaning of Christmas within Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza though.

Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza contains plenty of singing and dancing. The snowball fight is interesting but a bit odd under the sea. I like how that Sea Horse realize it was more important to use his speed skills to win than to try and be a snowball expert. The lessons that kids can learn from Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza is counting, be kind, be nice, be good for presents, listen, work together, save others in need, and more.

The break down of the episodes within Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza are one for Hanukkah, two for Santa and Christmas, and three for winter. I am kind of surprised Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza was not called Winter Bonanza, or Winter Holiday Bonanza. I know both of those would be controversial and highly divisive. It is nice to see Christmas not being censored within Nickelodeon Holiday Bonanza. That was a practice a few years back that was also highly controversial and highly divisive.
