Family Friendly Gaming was given a digital
download code for Before We Leave on the Xbox platform. I played Before
We Leave on the Xbox Series X. Before We Leave is a city builder with an
interesting twist. We control what happens to our peeps in Before We
Leave. The peeps look like Playmobile characters. I figured that out
from zooming in and taking a look at them. The planet we are on is
hexagon based. So we can do certain things in each of the tiles in
Before We Leave. You will need a road to be able to put new buildings
down.
Before We Leave is like most strategy video games. We can stop time, and
speed it up. That way you can plan out your next move. Before We Leave
includes a tutorial if you want to learn how to play this game. I highly
recommend the tutorial since it teaches families what needs to be done
in what order to help your peeps. The premise of Before We Leave is
interesting as well. A catastrophe sent the people underground to
survive. They are now coming back to reclaim the surface.
Before We Leave looks decent and there is some nice music. There is
violent content as some creatures will try and tear down what you are
building. The controls in Before We Leave are easy to pick up and learn.
The tutorial also teaches players where things are. We must research new
skills for the peeps to be able to do them in Before We Leave. A lot of
Before We Leave is about balancing. We need certain resources to build
specific objects. We also need our people to be trained in how to build
those specific objects.
Before We Leave is one of those video games that is right up my alley. I
wish I had the time and financial resources to be able to stream this
game. Sadly I do not have either of those. Other companies are competing
constantly for Family Friendly Gaming to do video sponsorships of their
games. Hopefully Before We Leave will enter the mix real soon on that
region. I would really enjoy playing Before We Leave for a video
sponsorship.
There are scenarios in Before We Leave on top of the tutorial and
playing a main game. I love how the worlds rotate in Before We Leave.
The premise in Before We Leave is a good one to explain why we are
starting over on this planet. It is cool there is existing technology on
the planet to be discovered. I hope there are more games like Before We
Leave in the near future. Before We Leave shows one way to restore a
civilization.
