Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was given a retail copy of Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic on DVD. This kids show is more for the girls than the boys. Which is nice that girls have their own television shows because girls and boys are very different in what they like and what reaches them. Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic deals more with relationships and helping others than teaching math and science.

There are seven episodes of Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic on the DVD disc. Those seven episodes on Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic are All That Glitters, Glitter Glitch, Zahra-glitter Zahra-glow, Samira and Zeta, Volcano Drain-o, Grab That Gem, and Crystal Chaos. It takes ninety-three minutes to watch Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic from start to finish. Glitter takes center stage in most of the episodes on the Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic disc.

The main characters in Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic are genies in training. Magic takes a major part of Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic from start to finish. There are parts in each episode where the characters need something to help them. They use wishes to get what they need. At times I questioned some of the wishes. Imagine you are trapped somewhere. Would you wish to be free and out of that area? Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic wishes for help finding the way out.

Some of the lessons within Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic are stealing is bad, do not give up, practice, do the right thing, help those in need, and more. Zahra is constantly making trouble for the genie girls in Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic. She steals and uses magic for her own personal gain. She winds up needing help in quite a few episodes on Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic. At times I felt bad for her and do not understand why she did not learn.

Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic contains neat music. I was shocked at how professional some of the music in Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic sounded. I was expecting normal kids show kind of music. Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic takes it step beyond and that quality really shows. The fantasy world within Shimmer and Shine Glitter Magic is strange, new and different to me. Magic and glitter keep this show together.
