I am very thankful I had the money to purchase Jumanji The Next Level on Black Friday. We found a lot of great things in the first movie and were very curious to see what the second movie was like. Jumanji The Next Level does not disappoint. Jumanji The Next Level is much better than Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle. There are enough new twists and turns to make Jumanji The Next Level a very interesting movie for families.

Jumanji The Next Level does earn the PG-13 rating. There is bad language, violence, lack of attire, enticement to lust, and more. There is a reference to one character messing around with the wife of another character. Garbage like that is not needed. The bad language was not needed. There are certain areas where Jumanji The Next Level could have been cleaned up and been much better for families in my professional opinion.

Spencer is not really happy with his life. He tries to fix the Jumanji machine to go back in and become Dr Bravestone. Something goes wrong and he winds up as an Asian thief instead. The rest of the crew try to return to save him. Something goes wrong for them as well. They are in different avatars this time. Jumanji The Next Level also introduces new skills and weaknesses for certain characters. There is also a body swapping water that helps the team in Jumanji The Next Level.

The humor in Jumanji The Next Level is very deep. As different people are in different avatars their reactions and interactions are hilarious. Friends bond again thanks to Jumanji in this movie. We also learn interesting facets about some of them as well. SPOILER ALERT! One character is dying in the real world and decides to stay in Jumanji. There is also going to be a third movie after a scene in the credits. It will come full circle with the original Robin Williams version.

We see deserts and snowy mountains in Jumanji The Next Level. There are some cool bonus features in Jumanji The Next Level too. They are Body Swapping, Snapping Into Character, Back Together: Reuniting the Cast, Level Up: Making Jumanji The Next Level. The actors and actresses do a great job portraying different people in Jumanji The Next Level. I really enjoyed Jumanji The Next Level on DVD and so did the rest of the family.
