I purchased Daredevil The Complete Second Season after watching a few episodes of the first season. Remember the first season started okay and got a lot worse as the episodes went on. So I had a feeling Daredevil The Complete Second Season was going to be worse than the first. I was completely right about that assessment. There is so much un-needed content if the writers had been more creative.

Daredevil The Complete Second Season introduces us to Frank Castle. For those not into comic books that is The Punisher. Who is the Punisher? He is an veteran who watched his family get gunned down for stumbling across a mob hit. Frank was shot as well. He finds criminals and kills them. The Punisher is an anti-hero who plays judge, jury and executioner.

The issues families can have with Daredevil The Complete Second Season are violence, blood, death, murder, gore, bad language, nudity, sex outside of marriage, attacks on Christians, and more. It seems like Matt Murdock's Catholic faith is treated more like a crutch in Daredevil The Complete Second Season. Eastern religious beliefs are shown as more power in this season as well.

Elektra plays a major part of Daredevil The Complete Second Season. Stick returns and the law firm of Nelson and Murdock dissolves. Those two are not completely related though. The Hand is a cult of ninjas that play a big part of the second half of the thirteen episodes in Daredevil The Complete Second Season. It took me 701 minutes to watch Daredevil The Complete Second Season.

There were so many opportunities to make Daredevil The Complete Second Season more family friendly. Way too much bad language that was not needed and felt forced. Some of the violence could have been left out like when The Punisher was in prison. They could have cut away and showed him standing there among a bunch of bodies. We did not need to see all of that.

The writing is extremely tight and there are plenty of threads woven into Daredevil The Complete Second Season. I noticed this while watching this television show. Characters act in very predictable ways in Daredevil The Complete Second Season. At times there were interesting conflicts among characters that should work together. Daredevil The Complete Second Season is only for the adult members of the family.
