I missed Transformers Beast Machines when it was on television. So I
give Shout Factory props for releasing the entire series on DVD. It fits
on four DVDs, and clocks in around eleven and a half hours of viewing
time. There are also interviews on two of the discs which can lengthen
the viewing time.
Transformers Beast Machines The Complete Series is going to be
controversial. There is no way around it. The series is darker, and
spiritual. Which brings up a very important question. Why is it when
Hollywood does something spiritual they always ignore Christianity? Why
do they always throw in Eastern religious beliefs?
The interviews on Transformers Beast Machines The Complete Series
reference how many of the Transformer fans hated this show. I come from
a GI Joe background first, and then Transformers after that. I am always
more into GI Joe than Transformers. With that said, there were so many
things done wrong in Transformers Beast Machines The Complete Series.
Blackarachnia is on the side of good in Transformers Beast Machines The
Complete Series. Megatron is killed off multiple times and just keeps
coming back. He is like a cockroach. There are few characters. Optimus
and his crew retreat all of the time. Many of the characters look weak,
and selfish. There is all kinds of undermining of authority,
disrespecting authority, not enforcing rules, bickering, and numerous
bad attitudes.
Transformers Beast Machines The Complete Series preaches balance. There
is a nature versus technology battle that goes on in Transformers Beast
Machines The Complete Series. The standard Transformers violence,
battles, explosions, and fighting is present.
In my personal opinion Transformers Beast Machines The Complete Series
is the worst Transformers series of all time. Eastern religious beliefs
are shoved down our throats, the storylines make little to no sense, and
the end game does not connect to any other series. It should come as no
surprise that other Transformer shows went far, far away from these
themes.
