One of the
biggest surprises recently has been SlugTerra. This show has caught on
like a wild fire with some here at Family Friendly Gaming. So you can
imagine the excitement level here at FFG when SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed
came in on DVD thanks to our friends over at Shout Factory.
The five episodes on SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed are The Slug Run, Shadows
and Light, Dawn of the Slug, Club Slug, and Endangered Species. The
bonus content on SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed is Slugisodes, and A Look
Behind The Scenes, Writing Slugterra. The bonus features take the bite
out of there only being five episodes.
SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed continues the legacy of the Shane Gang. There
are new characters, and old ones return. The whole zombie episode felt
completely out of place. The rare slugs are a nice touch, and help this
show grow. The Slug racing episode was one of the best in my personal
opinion.
I continue to enjoy the artwork and voice acting in SlugTerra Slugs
Unleashed. The various characters in SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed are
interesting, as is this entire underground world. Kids really get into
SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed. Both of my boys are enthralled with SlugTerra
Slugs Unleashed. Their one complaint - there needs to be more episodes.
They would also like toys at our local Target.
SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed is a fun franchise for adults and children.
SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed is more for boys than it is for girls. Boys
love seeing the different powers and skills the slugs have. They also
like the guns and shooting aspects to SlugTerra Slugs Unleashed. I hope
this show continues for some years to come.
