Jaleco Arcade 1

Jaleco Arcade 1

I am very thankful I was blessed enough to be able to purchase a copy of the Jaleco Arcade 1 multi-game cartridge for the Evercade systems. There are eight games on this cartridge. The games on the Jaleco Arcade 1 cartridge are 64th Street A Detective Story, Avenging Spirit, Cybattler, E.D.F. Earth Defense Force, P-47 The Phantom Fighter, Rodland, Saint Dragon, and The Astyanax. Half of the games on the Jaleco Arcade 1 cartridge are shooters. Expect a full review of Jaleco Arcade 1 in issue #192 of the always amazing Family Friendly Gaming magazine and e-magazine. The developer for Jaleco Arcade 1 is Jaleco. The publisher for Jaleco Arcade 1 is Blaze Entertainment.

There are some weird games in Jaleco Arcade 1 too. Avenging Spirit and Rodland come to mind. In Avenging Spirit we play a ghost that possess other characters. Those characters then go on a rampage destroying all of the other characters in a 2D side scroller. When your host body takes too much damage you go and take control of another character. The powers can change depending on the character. I was a guy with a gun shooting everyone and then a dragon breathing fire when I blitzed through a few levels in this game. In Rodland we take a young lady with a rod and can move monsters from one side to another. We must walk over all of the flowers and take out the enemies in the screens we are on. Rodland feels like a puzzle game to me in most regards.
