Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia

Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia

Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia has changed the Fire Emblem system forever and I don't know if I like it. Now you only have one inventory slot, abilities come with weapons, small amount of classes, and magic/Arts take HP(health points) to use. For the first time I can recall Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia has 3D dungeons to explore - this was a complete surprise to me as I was used to the previous system and I liked it. The other side to 3D dungeons is you find treasure chests way more often which is helpful since you can't buy weapons in Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia. Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia is certainly a more challenging Fire Emblem that will not be good for newcomers. When changing classes in Fire emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia you have to pray to an idol to the false goddess Mila.

The soundtrack in Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia is quite nice however there is so much profanity in the background from enemies dying or your team leveling up that the soundtrack is almost forgotten. The Anime cut scenes in Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia were good looking, but they were 3DS graphics so nothing too amazing. Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia requires a large amount of grinding; in fact most of the almost 60 hours I played I spent grinding. Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia removed the best mode in my opinion, which was Phoenix mode in which every turn all dead units would come back. This was great for new people to the franchise and I am not sure why Nintendo thought it wise to remove this easier mode. People in support of Traditional Marriage rejoice the only marriages happen are Traditional. From what I have seen this game is a pay to win type of game as the paid DLC is almost the only way to beat Fire emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia in under 60 hours.
