WRC FIA World Rally Championship Now Available
Jump into the Driver’s Seat and Join the Official WRC Championships Today
SAN JOSE, Calif., (March 26, in the year of our Lord
2013) -- NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced that
WRC 3 FIA World Rally Championship is now available at retailers
in North and Latin America for the PlayStation®3 computer
entertainment system and PlayStation®Vita handheld entertainment
system. WRC 3 was created by racing video game developer
Milestone and features all the official contents from the 2012
FIA World Rally Championship, including all the main racing
teams, cars, and locations to bring the WRC experience to life.
WRC 3 takes a giant leap forward from previous WRC titles and
presents a full range of rally racing gameplay, allowing players
to fully immerse themselves in the world of WRC racing.
Life-like physics create challenging conditions that are sure to
get players’ adrenaline pumping and simulate the high-speed
thrill of driving a real WRC car. The realistic handling,
combined with environmental variations, and co-driver
instructions will put players in the driver’s seat like no other
rally game. Developer Milestone’s brand new graphics engine,
Spikengine, produces lighting, shadow, and particle effects that
deliver a maximum level of realism in order to enhance the
player’s experience.

fast cars, treacherous Rallies, customizable tuning, and
combines them all to create one cohesive racing package that is

The Road to Glory career mode* is the main attraction of WRC 3,
and lets players participate in both racing gameplay and take on
team management elements by customizing their cars and teams
before joining one of the most heated rally championships based
on the official WRC season. Players will also be able to test
how they match up against their friends in the online
multiplayer modes where competing racers are shown as Ghosts,
making for intense neck-and-neck time-attack action. WRC 3’s
hair-raising single-player and multiplayer modes will be sure to
satisfy racing fans and gamers in these fast-paced and gripping
competitions on spectacularly recreated tracks.
WRC 3 FIA World Rally Championship is rated “E” for Everyone by
the ESRB, and will be available in North America and Latin
America at a MSRP of $39.99 and $34.99 for the PlayStation®3
system packaged and digital versions respectively, and $29.99
for the PlayStation®Vita system digital version.
