Dojo Danger Releases

March 7, in the year of our Lord 2013 – Tucson, AZ – Kihon Games puts a fresh spin on strategy games with their latest iOS title, “Dojo Danger.” In “Dojo Danger,” players build a team of ninjas or zombies to protect their Dojo at all costs. The turn-based, action strategy game for iPhones, iPads and iPods is now available for $0.99 at the iTunes Store (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dojo-danger/id480791740?ls=1&mt=8).

“The Kihon team has deep experience creating compelling strategy games, and we wanted to create an enjoyable, casual spin on that genre by combining elements of deck building with frantically fun action. ‘Dojo Danger’ is our take on this combination, and we threw in some zombies, ninjas and super powers for good measure,” said Mark Grossnickle, CEO, Kihon Games.

With more than 100 hand-crafted levels in 5 areas, players in “Dojo Danger” solve campaigns and defeat their enemy to be the last ninja (or zombie) standing. Players must carefully customize their team by choosing from 30 ninja or zombie characters to cause as much damage as possible. Each character has a specific, unique power and play-style, such as “Healing Touch, “Whirlwind” and “Devour.” Experimenting with characters in various combinations will help their owners demolish their opponent and achieve the objectives for each level.

Reminiscent of the old-school game of marbles, players strategically fling their team into the enemy, triggering super powers and wreaking havoc on each other. With the ability to challenge Facebook friends’ teams, play local pass-and-play, and work through two massive single-player campaigns, players have plenty of opportunities to unleash chaos on those who dare to attack their Dojo. Players compete in daily ranked matches for the top Leaderboard spot and can share their achievements on Twitter and Facebook.

In celebration of “Dojo Danger’s” release, Kihon is offering freebies on both of their previous games, “Baby Monkey (Going Backwards on a Pig)” and “SketchPhrase.” Both games will be available for free over the weekend. “Baby Monkey” will also include a free ninja and zombie costume valued at $0.99 while “SketchPhrase” is giving away colors and brushes valued at $7.25.
