Quantum Conundrum Show Announced
LOS ANGELES (June 27, in the year of our Lord 2012)
– Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive
entertainment products in the Americas, and iam8bit today
announced a joint venture to create a new game show: “The Super
Dimensional Quantum Learning’s Problems and Solutions Gametime
Spectacular!!” The game show takes cues from Quantum Conundrum™,
the new first-person environmental puzzle game from famed
designer and co-creator of PORTAL™ 1, Kim Swift, and developer
Airtight Games. A sneak peek of upcoming episodes is now
available for download.
Unsuspecting contestants are transformed and taken to real-life
fluffy, heavy, anti-gravity and slow motion dimensions in “The
Super Dimensional Quantum Learning’s Problems and Solutions
Gametime Spectacular!!” Joining host Kevin Pereira is Professor
Quadwrangle’s pet, an Interdimensional Kinetic Entity better
known as Ike. On the show, Ike is a one-of-a-kind puppet
hand-crafted by industry veteran, Russ Walko.
“I’d be in the crazy dimension to pass up the role as host for
the most epic show ever,” said host Kevin Pereira, former host
of “Attack of the Show.” “Have you SEEN Ike? How can you say no
to anything involving that little guy?”
Quantum Conundrum is rated E for Everyone with Comic Mischief.

Conundrum is now available on Steam® for Windows PC. The game
will be available July 10 for PlayStation®Network for the
PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and on July 11 for
Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment
system from Microsoft.
ABOUT QUANTUM CONUNDRUM
In Quantum Conundrum, players take on the role of a young kid
dropped off on his uncle’s doorstep for the weekend; his uncle
just so happens to be the brilliant, eccentric inventor,
Professor Fitz Quadwrangle. Upon entering the Professor’s vast
manor home retrofitted with crazy technology to test his latest
hypotheses, players quickly realize their uncle has gone
missing. Fortunately, players soon gain access to Professor
Quadwrangle’s latest invention, the Inter-Dimensional Shift
Device, which, at the press of a button, will shift the world
around them to an entirely new dimension. In order to find him,
players must use the newly found IDS Device to dynamically
change the world to and from a variety of different dimensions
to progress through the complicated Quadwrangle Manor. While on
the journey, becoming adept at utilizing the various dimensions
will help them trek from one bizarre and challenging room to the
next. It might sound easy enough, but it is a tall order for a
kid in a giant puzzle of a manor!
