New 1-1 update for The Bluecoats - North vs South

Montreuil (France), July 17, in the year of our Lord 2012. French software publisher Anuman Interactive has announced its first update of the strategy game “The Bluecoats – North vs South” for iOS.

When it was released for iPhone and iPad on 10 May 2012, the video game “The Bluecoats – North vs South” soon won a following . Both the media and players gave a positive reception to this turn-based strategy game featuring action phases. It won first place in the French league table of iPad games and came top of the iTunes “Strategy” category in some ten countries. It is also available on PC and Mac.

Anuman Interactive is continuing with its drive to upgrade “The Bluecoats – North vs South” to meet user expectations more closely and has released the first update. Its reworked interface is easier to handle on mobile devices (iPhone and iPod Touch), and the tactical games phases have been improved (iPhone and iPad). For example, during the phases when players try to capture territory from the enemy on the map of the USA, they will be able to get a break-down of the enemy troops, so gaining a strategic advantage.

Eric Nguyen, Anuman Interactive Marketing Directeur explains: “We have had a lot of feedback from users since the game was launched. We want to use their comments to evolve the game so it meets player expectations. That’s why we’ve introduced this first update, which will be the first of a long series. For example, we will soon be adding a full multi-player option. It will give players 2 choices. For players who like strategy games and board games, two of them will now be able to play on the same device in the territorial capture phases on the US map. And the action phases and mini-games will be playable across platforms. For example, a player using an iPad will be able to play locally against one using an iPhone for a whole game in the strategy and mini-game phases.”

Update 1.1:
- Reworked interface for iPhone and iPod Touch screens
- Improved tactical mode (strategy map)
- Minor bugs corrected
