NCAA Football 13 Demo Now Available

June 5, in the year of our Lord 2012 – EA SPORTS is giving gamers their first taste of NCAA® Football 13 with the release of the official game demo on Xbox 360 and PS3. The demo is available now on Xbox 360, and will debut on Wed, June 6 on the PS3. The demo allows fans to experience the excitement and unpredictability of game day in the revamped Dynasty mode, as well as step into the cleats of a legend in Heisman® Challenge. Users will also be rewarded for playing, as completing games and sharing the demo will unlock new Heisman Challenge players and Nike Pro Combat uniforms when NCAA Football 13 ships on July 10.

DYNASTY

Users can take to the field in one of three games taking place during Week 10 of the upcoming college football season. Throughout their chosen game, players will be able to see the rest of the college football landscape unfold via the new ESPN Bottom Line ticker and live Studio Updates with analyst Rece Davis. Each game starts at a different time of day, demonstrating the different ways the day’s stories can be told through the Bottom Line ticker and Studio Updates. The matchups in the demo are:

· Kansas State at Baylor (12:00pm Kickoff)
· Oregon at USC (3:30pm Kickoff)
· Alabama at LSU (8:00pm Kickoff)

HEISMAN CHALLENGE

The demo also allows players to take on the persona of 2011 Heisman Trophy winner and NCAA Football 13 cover athlete Robert Griffin III, and experience a game through his eyes. After listening to Griffin tell the story of how he chose Baylor, players can rewrite history by inserting Griffin as the starting quarterback on any of the six schools included in the demo. With Griffin at the helm, users can utilize the QB’s incredible mobility and passing acumen to carve up opposing defenses. Further enhancing the experience, players can trigger Reaction Time to literally slow down the action and evade defenders, spot open receivers and find the perfect opportunity to score.

IN-GAME REWARDS FOR PLAYING AND SHARING

Adding further incentive to experience the demo, EA SPORTS is offering free unlockable content for anyone who plays and shares the game. Playing through each of the Dynasty matchups unlocks Tim Brown, Jim Plunkett and Archie Griffin for use in Heisman Challenge in the retail version of NCAA Football 13. Furthermore, sharing the demo with a friend unlocks Nike Pro Combat uniforms for LSU, Navy, Stanford, Boise State and Ohio State. Now, not only do fans get to enjoy NCAA Football 13 over a month before it hits store shelves, but they also can look forward to some great rewards when they jump into the full game on July 10.
