Klondike Battle For iOS Brings New Spin On The Solitaire Genre
In collaboration with popular games- and app-portal, Daily App
Dream, independent developers Nifty Inspirations are offering
their popular solitaire game with a twist, ‘Klondike Battle’,
for FREE, in a limited-time promotion beginning January 10th
2012.
‘Klondike Battle’, compatible with the Apple iPad®, as well as
the Apple iPhone® and Apple iPod touch®, is at its foundation a
solitaire game, but with a lot of improvements and enhancements
unique to the genre. Based on ‘Russian Bank’, the game plays
with a specific set of rules: you play head-to-head against an
opponent (human or computer) to determine who is best. You are
constantly trying to play your cards strategically onto the
playing field, which you share with your opponent. The smarter
player can increase its winning chances by carefully checking
all possibilities and making the better moves. In the classic
solitaire game, you challenge yourself, but in ‘Klondike Battle’
you challenge your opponent. Furthermore, the game is made
harder by introduction of a timer, and as the clock ticks down
it becomes essential that you execute the best possible move
before the clock runs out! And finally, in ‘Klondike Battle’ you
can pound your opponents mental state with cards you cannot play
to the playing board, and give yourself the advantage in the
game! Although your opponent player will not appreciate this, it
is hilarious fun and a nice addition to the game.
