Wind-up Knight 2 Releases on Wii U
Tokyo – August 13, in the year of our Lord 2015
– Unity Games, the game publishing division of Unity
Technologies Japan, today announced the release of the popular
Wind-up Knight 2 for the Wii U™ system. Originally developed by
Robot Invader for Android and iOS, Wind-up Knight 2 has since
become one of today’s most popular mobile platform games. The
game has been extensively updated and rebalanced for the console
experience and is available now on Wii U in the Nintendo eShop
for $7.50 USD SRP.
As the game publishing studio behind the Unity engine, Unity
Games is directly involved in showcasing the engine’s platform
extensibility by identifying exceptional games and introducing
them to entirely new gaming audiences on entirely new gaming
systems. With Wind-up Knight 2, Unity Games went one step
further, by directly managing the game’s transition from iOS and
Android to Wii U. The studio curated an internal development
team who focused on updating the title and making sure the
popular mobile platform game was even more accessible and
easy-to-use for Wii U fans. Wind-up Knight 2, represents the
first ever Wii U title from Unity Games and the studio’s North
American debut as a Nintendo publisher.

Wind-up Knight 2 is a clever and highly challenging platform
game where players control Sir Sprint, a clockwork knight tasked
with completing a host of increasingly diabolical challenges.
Armed with a powerful sword and a stout shield the windup knight
must double-jump, duck & roll, attack and block his way to
victory in a beautifully rendered world filled with humorous
hazards and inventive obstacles. Players collect coins, discover
secrets, use special abilities, purchase powerful new equipment
all in an effort to achieve better rankings and conquer
level-specific goals. With more than 40 levels, the new
Tournament mode, multitudes of secrets and power-ups, unique
stage challenges and much more, Wind-up Knight 2 is guaranteed
