Barnstorm Launches American Mensa Brain Training on iOS

London, October 8, in the year of our Lord 2015 – Barnstorm Games today announced the launch of the definitive daily workout for the brain, American Mensa Brain Training on iOS. Designed to allow users to tailor their training to brain activities that require the most attention, focusing on five disciplines: Memory, Concentration, Mental Agility, Perception and Reasoning. The title continues Barnstorm's successful relationship with Mensa that started with the App Store Staff Favorite, and No.1 Entertainment App (in 17 countries), Mensa Brain Test.

The American Mensa Brain Training App can be downloaded from the App Store and trialed free for seven days; users can play challenging exercises developed by industry experts and accredited by American Mensa. Research has shown that regular brain training can significantly enhance fluid intelligence, which is the fundamental human ability to reason, detect patterns and learn. A subscription will allow users to check their personal progress with the Mensa Brain Index (MBI), and see their global percentile for each of the five disciplines. Players are able to choose a subscription plan that suits them: $5.99 for three months, $9.99 for one year and $15.99 for two years.

"The brain training market on iOS has exploded since we launched Mensa Brain Test back in 2010; hundreds of thousands of people wanted to test themselves on the App. However, our approach with American Mensa Brain Training is quite different, it's about cultivating improvement and keeping the brain fit and healthy with regular exercise, in much the same way as you might your body." stated Simon Jeffrey, CEO of Barnstorm Games.

Pam Donahoo, CAE Executive Director, said: "Our goal is to help explore and support options available to keep brains challenged while increasing awareness of our organization and the importance of intellectual pursuit. We believe that app users will enjoy this new offering from Barnstorm and Mensa."
