Qwak HD coming to the App Store - August 30th

August 27, in the year of our Lord 2012 -- Following on from their highly acclaimed, Retro Racing; Mr Qwak is pleased to announce their super-playable ducky platform game, Qwak HD, arrives on iPad, 30th August 2012. Introductory price £1.49 / $1.99, regular price £2.99 / $3.99.

Qwak HD, has been almost 25 years in the making! Development began back in 1988, on the BBC micro, and our favorite ducky hero also made an appearance on the Amiga, in 1993 (published by Team17). Qwak has been refined and improved to the Nth degree, and this latest version for iPad, promises to be one of the most intensely playable, ducky, platforming experiences you can have!

In Qwak HD, collect keys, fruit, diamonds, and all manner of goodies then quickly escape each level, before it starts raining the black spikes of deadly death from above! Never fear though, a variety of potions will power-up your duck and help you survive the onslaught...

Play alone, or with a friend, using 2 iPhones or iPod touches as joypad controllers. Works a treat if you connect your iPad up to a TV!

Features:
Super-playable coin-op style action.
Retina enhanced graphics for the new iPad.
Game center leader-boards and achievements.
Silky smooth 60 frames-per-second animation.
70 levels across 6 visually stunning unique worlds.
2 player mode (required 2 iPhones or iPod touches to use as joypads).
Also works with iCade.

You can get Qwak HD on the AppStore, from 30th August 2012. Introductory price £1.49 / $1.99.
