Goalunited is giving all football fans the chance to participate in their own European Championship

Munich, April 2, in the year of our Lord 2012 – European Football Championship – Hundreds of thousands of fans will be supporting their national team in every match – listening on their radios, in their cars, at home in front of the TV or at the bar round the corner. Many prefer the atmosphere of a public viewing surrounded by thousands of other fans. To celebrate the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine goalunited is giving fans another way to support their team.

With its “Euro Cup for All” competition goalunited is giving its players all over the world a unique opportunity to support their teams. From April 3 to June 1, all goalunited managers will be able to choose which of the 16 participating national teams they want to support. Fans can choose any of the teams, regardless of the server country – making “Euro Cup for All” a truly international event.

Things get serious starting June 8. Just as players like Miroslav Klose, Frank Ribéry, Xavi, or Wayne Rooney will be giving everything to win the European Cup, the same is expected from all the players in goalunited’s “Euro Cup for All”. All participating managers will be drawn against eight equally-skilful opponents whom they must defeat in the subsequent matches. For each goal, the goalunited coach receives a point for their selected national team, regardless of whether they win or lose. The winner of the goalunited “Euro Cup for All” is the team whose supporting teams collectively scored the most goals. A comprehensive algorithm runs in the background to ensure absolute equality of opportunity for all countries, regardless of the number of supports. All participants are rewarded with a
Talent-Booster-Pack. Fans of the winning team in the “Euro Cup for All” competition will also be awarded a prestigious cup for the trophy cabinet in their club house.

The more the merrier
Travian Games is also taking care of new goalunited players and promoting its “Tell a Friend” program.
