Fun and Mayhem Erupt on your iPad with Tuff Tanks

Free-to-Play Turn-Based Artillery Shooter Blasts onto Tablets

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Aug. 31, in the year of our Lord 2012 – Load up the cannons, put on your hard hat, and hold on tight! Aeria Mobile, a subsidiary of leading free-to-play publisher Aeria Games, today announced the global release of Tuff Tanks, the publisher’s first exclusive iPad game. Tuff Tanks is a turn-based artillery shooting game in a colorful, cartoony post-apocalyptic world.

In player vs. environment (PvE) missions, combatants jump into their personalized tanks to defend themselves against waves of increasingly stronger enemy monsters. Players earn a wide variety of rewards for completing missions, including special items that give a leg up on the battlefield and hard-earned spoils for the ultimate in bragging rights. Social tank drivers can also recruit their friends to help blast dangerous bosses to smithereens!

For the ultimate challenge, player vs. player (PvP) mode offers up to 4 vs. 4 battles online against live opponents. Players can form a private army with their friends and take on enemies from all over the world to fight for the top spot on the leaderboards.

“We are excited to bring our first iPad title, Tuff Tanks, to tablet players,” said Colin McKee, General Manager, Aeria Mobile. “This artillery shooter illustrates the diversity of games that Aeria Mobile is bringing to market through internal development and global partnerships. We look forward to announcing more titles for core gamers across an array of mobile platforms.”

Tuff Tanks is available as a free download for the iPad 2 and current-gen iPads on the iTunes store. For more information, please visit the official website.
