The new Avenger was expected to launch earlier this year, but due to unexpectedly high order volumes and several manufacturing obstacles, its final shipping date was postponed. The Avenger is priced at $49.99 and currently available for immediate delivery. In addition, N-Control is offering a Buy 2 & Get 1 Free promotion for the next two weeks.

The Avenger, which promises to enhance gamers’ reaction time and situational awareness, garnered significant media coverage after exhibiting at CES 2011 and PAX East. N-Control will be present at this year’s E3 Convention, where they hope to demonstrate the Avenger’s “ultimate advantage” and make a greater impact within the gaming community. Hosts of G4TV's X-Play, Adam Sessler & Blain Herter, gave the Avenger two thumbs up, claiming that it certainly "improves [the gamer’s] skills substantially," and best of all, it does so "without cheating." Further accolades from the two hosts highlighted the Avenger's "thumbless button operation" and the capability for "very fine finesse and control" within the gaming environment. As a result, eager XBOX 360 gamerseverywhere are looking forward to its highly anticipated shipment today.
Soon enough, an estimated 35 million gamers will have more reason to celebrate. N-Control is developing a similar model for the Sony (NYSE: SNE) PlayStation 3®(PS3™) official controller. “Production for the PS3 model has commenced,” said David Kotkin, the lead developer of The Avenger. “After thorough testing, they will start shipping in the fourth quarter of 2011.” Additionally, an Avenger designed to outfit the new Razer™ Onza XBOX 360 controller will join the ranks in early 2012.
