The Working Man Gamer is coming back to all ya'll with a brand new online exclusive column touching on the release of the Nintendo Wii. The WMG has played this system, and has got to tell yous the Nintendo Wii is certainly better than all the hype. This is a rare, and historic case where the system actually beats the hype. The controller handles perfectly, and the interface works great. The games are fun, and are learning to use the new control scheme. Make no mistakes true believers, not all the games coming out the gate are gonna be great. There are however more than enough awesome games that the WMG has played to make this a launch to take an interest in.

The Nintendo Wii can completely, totally, and utterly revolutionize the video game industry as Family Friendly Gaming has revolutionized the magazine publishing industry. This website, and magazine is the perflect compliment to the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo has historically done the best job of the big three (Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo) in the Family Friendly Gaming arena. With that said, the WMG hopes they do not rest on their laurels. Nintendo needs to keep being as family friendly as possible. There are of course fanatical forces trying to degenerate Nintendo into the mud. The WMG announces right here, and right now that the WMG stands up for Nintendo, stands up for families, and stands up for God.

There is so much interest in the Nintendo Wii that the WMG prays no one does anything criminal in an attempt to try and acquire one of these machines. If yous gots to be patience, then be patient. Nintendo will be churning these machines out as fast as they possibly can. It may take yous a few days, or a month, or maybe next year. Trust the WMG on this - it is worth the wait. The WMG understands all ya'lls excitement over this system, and gets it when it comes to a desire to play this fantastic new video game machine. Please do not stress if yous can't get one on DAY ONE (November 19, in the year of our Lord 2006).

When yous do find one, then join us online in the revolution of the Wii. Family Friendly Gaming is going to be hosting different events with different games continuing to build this already impressive community. At least the WMG is lobbying for that. If yous are interested in hanging online with some of the fantastic Family Friendly Gaming crew, post something on the message boards, or fire off an email. The WMG eventually responds to all emails, and knows the others do as well.
