Sit and Watch

So the WMG took a little bit out of playing Final Fantasy X. Yeah the WMG is a bit backlogged on his video games; you would too if you had to work a full time job. Back to the game though. This merger of video games with movies is not cool in the WMG's book. Sitting there watching all these mind numbingly boring movies in the game all the time is like trudging through the snow in the WMG's old combat boots. Sure the tread is good in those boots. Don't believe the WMG? Here take a look at this traction:

FOOOP
SMACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Ooh man, the WMG is so sorry. He only meant to let you see the traction, sorry about the sweet chin music. Is your jaw going to be okay? Roll it around a little, rub it down a bit. The bruise will go away in a few days, and the traction indentation will go away even sooner.

Think the WMG is only picking on one game? Xenosaga is worse. Some of the movies in that game can last for up to 45 minutes. That is way, way, way too long. That is the length of some television shows (without the commercials).

The WMG wants his video games to be video games. We sit down and watch a movie; we play a video game. The WMG wants more interaction with the games, not less. The WMG does not have time to wade through all of these characters telling him about their thoughts and feelings. The WMG will tell the characters how they feel, and can think for himself.
