Every so often I sample a modern day television show to see how bad
things have gotten. Holly Weird is going all out in their war on
Christians with Vikings The Complete First Season. I expected there to
be blood, and violence in Vikings The Complete First Season. I did not
expect Vikings The Complete First Season to attack Christians at every
single turn.
The people behind Vikings The Complete First Season say in the bonus
features they want to make the Vikings look more sympathetic. In other
words they are trying to redefine history to make evil, vile, and wicked
people look like fluffy bunnies. Vikings The Complete First Season fails
at that endeavor. I can see how selfish, rude, mean, hateful, and nasty
the Vikings are in this show.
The lack of morals, ethics, and honor in Vikings The Complete First
Season is disturbing. The main character Ragnar does whatever he wants.
Every so often he has to pay the price for it. He becomes an Earl by
killing the previous one. How would you like that system of promotion at
your company? Few of us Americans would accept it.
Vikings The Complete First Season has bad language, adultery, death,
dismemberment, killing of children, lying, bad language, deceit,
extortion, theft, rape, pillage, and plunder. We have the phrase: "rape,
pillage and plunder" thanks to the Vikings. Vikings The Complete First
Season lives up to that historical reference quite accurately.
Christians will be highly offended by Vikings The Complete First Season.
Not only is there all kinds of worship of false gods and goddesses,
there is also human sacrifice. If that was not bad enough Jesus Christ
is blasphemed in Vikings The Complete First Season. All of this in nine
episodes that lasts 397 minutes.
Satan has influenced a lot of cultures throughout history. It is one of
the things that has made America great. America stands up for others.
America believes in kindness. America believes in giving. Vikings The
Complete First Season shows how bad the self centered cultures have been
throughout history. Vikings The Complete First Season shows us what to
avoid.
