Sparkle 2

Sparkle 2 reminds me of Luxor, only Sparkle 2 is better. This downloadable only home console video game works really well on the Xbox One. Sparkle 2 is also on other systems like Steam, Mac, PS3, PS4 PS Vita, iOS, Android, and more. This is a great game for 10tons to port to as many systems as possible. I love the puzzle action of shooting marbles to match three while they are being pushed toward the end areas.

The goal in Sparkle 2 is very easy to understand. Match all of the colors before they are pushed to the end spots. At first I thought there was no guide line in Sparkle 2. Then I held the 'A' button and noticed a guide line came up. Brilliant! If you don't want it, then it is not there. If you want the assist it is easy to hold the button. Just be careful when you let go because the marble will fly.

Sparkle 2 comes with three modes. They are Story, Challenge, and Survival. As we level up in Story mode we are given the option of different ways to play. Like having rapid fire, or an easier (and longer) game play mode. Each level up presents the player with a new choice in the ninety plus levels. Families will not blow through Sparkle 2 very fast. It will take time to find all five of the keys.

The graphics in Sparkle 2 are good. The music is fantastic. The voice acting is amazing. We talk here at Family Friendly Gaming about how my hubby should be asked to voice act. I don't think he could have done a better job than the voice actor in Sparkle 2. That is saying quite a lot I know. The game play in Sparkle 2 is solid, smooth, and challenging. I really enjoyed playing this game on the Xbox One.

Sparkle 2 has some great power ups with wonderful visual effects. There is an addictive nature to playing Sparkle 2. Progress along the map is very slow since there are so many levels. There are choices to make in which path to take. The fantasy realm theme fits this puzzle game like a sock in a shoe. I hope to see physical copies, and sequels to Sparkle 2 in the future.
