Justice League gods and monsters is another movie we picked pretty
cheap on Black Friday. Yes we were busy little beavers on Black Friday
looking for deals to find a plethora of products to review for you our
wonderful readers. I thought this movie was going to be all about Wonder
Woman and her religious teachings. I was way off base in terms of
storyline.
Justice League gods and monsters is one of those alternate storylines.
Not set in the DC main Universe. Instead Justice League gods and
monsters is sort of a what if storyline. What if Superman's father was
Zod instead of Jor-El? What if Batman was a vampire? What if Wonder
Woman came from Apocalypse? Those three are the main characters in
Justice League gods and monsters.
Justice League gods and monsters contains enticement to lust, bad
language, violence, blood, gore, death, nudity, and more. The art style
in Justice League gods and monsters reminds me more of Justice League
Unlimited than the newer DC movies. The heroes are pretty evil, vile and
wicked in the beginning of Justice League gods and monsters. Thankfully
they settle into more traditional hero roles late in this movie.
We purchased the Blu-ray version of Justice League gods and monsters
which came with some interesting bonus features. Yes most of the bonus
features is rah, rah we are so wonderful kind of content. Some of the
interesting ones on the Justice League gods and monsters disc are
Alternate Realities, Calculated Risks, and two bonus cartoons. I felt
like I got my moneys worth out of this purchase. I think we paid four
dollars for it.
The whole tower of Justice was interesting in Justice League gods and
monsters. I also liked the Lex Luthor character in Justice League gods
and monsters. I miss Justice League Unlimited. It was way more family
friendly than recent DC movies like Justice League gods and monsters. I
hope the crew behind Justice League gods and monsters start to become
sensitive to families.
