Oh I need to get something important out of the way. Family Friendly Gaming was provided the Blu-ray + DVD version of My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks by Shout Factory. There was no payment provided for this review, which is around eight times the cost of this product.

The music in My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks is fantastic. There are multiple wonderful songs in My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks. My boys and hubby all like the Battle song. Which means My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks is stretching across the gender gap and reaching boys.

Three sirens that were banished to the human world see the Equestria magic, and go to Canterlot High to steal the magic. Princess Twilight finds a way back to the human world. However the reformed Sunset Shimmer plays an important role in My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks. I won't spoil it for you.

The animation is at the same level as past My Little Pony movies. The movie lasts for 72 minutes. There are multiple extras though. My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks contains audio commentary, eight prequel shorts, and three sing-a-longs.

The main storyline in My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks is using the magic of friendship to stop those trying to gain power. There is also an anti-competion undertone in My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks. There is also a lesson in not holding grudges against those who made mistakes in their past.
