Pirate Legends TD

In Pirate Legends TD players take on the role of the pirate. Yes you play the bad guy. To this very day pirates terrorize families trying to work hard to make something of themselves. Pirates take what they want in the most selfish manner possible. In Pirate Legends TD the main pirate stole something and is fighting off the forces trying to reclaim their property.

I found it hard to morally justify defending stolen property in Pirate Legends TD. Making matters worse the stolen property was a magical artifact. I had to play a bad guy dealing with the occult. It felt like a one two punch to the gut that knocked the wind out of me.

The positive side of Pirate Legends TD is how crisp and clear the graphics look. The level design and multiple difficulty settings allow entry for all skill sets. Even on the easiest setting boats can come fast and furious at the player. Thankfully we have multiple defenses.

Pirate Legends TD lets players places towers that do multiple things. They can be upgraded in the levels, and outside the levels (skill tree), there are additional attacks that charge up, and super powerful attacks. Be careful calling the Kracken because you only have so many of them.

Expect a high level of violence in Pirate Legends TD as the rating denotes. There are also scary things in this hand held game like Shaman, cannibals, and the undead. I would advise parents to have their kids steer clear of Pirate Legends TD. Unless you enjoy them waking you up in the middle of the night due to the nightmares.

The sounds and voices in Pirate Legends TD have a pirate feel to them. At times they got on my last good nerve. I know it fits the theme, but it felt forced. The $3.99 entry price feels a little steep especially when there are so many $0.99 apps out there. What I can not figure, is why are there in app purchases in Pirate Legends TD? The high entrance fee should remove any in app purchases.
