Phineas and Ferb. My own boys brought this show to my attention. I
immediately liked it as I watched it. Sort of like I immediately liked
the Hannah Montana show when I first saw it. It is a shame Miley has
lost her mind and utterly destroyed that franchise. Thankfully Phineas
and Ferb is going strong.
In Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel we see a crossover between Phineas
and Ferb and the Marvel universe. Now that Disney owns Marvel we can
expect more of this to happen in the future. Maybe Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse will host some Marvel characters too.
The downside to that is there is cartoon violence as Marvel characters
fight it out. Phineas and Ferb as well as some of their friends
participate in the mayhem. Candace has a nice role working with the
boys, and even getting chastised for making mistakes.
On top of Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel the full length adventure
there are also multiple fun episodes of the show. The episodes on this
DVD disc are Fly on the Wall, Sidetracked, Parts 1 & 2, Primal Perry,
Parts 1 & 2, Backyard Hodge Podge, Knot My Problem, and Mind Share. The
package also comes with a comic book, and a pull-out poster.
The humor and positive attitudes are some of the best things about this
franchise. Phineas and Ferb Mission Marvel is no exception. From
asteroid surfing to fixing the problems in the episodes this disc is
packed with fun for all ages of the entire family.
There are also lessons about including others, forgiveness, trusting
others, helping friends, and much more. I appreciate Disney releasing
this on DVD in this package. Characters act the way you would expect
them to. Perry is awesome, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz continues his hilarious
attempts at ruling the tri state area.
