2 movie collection The Emperors New Groove Kronk's New Groove
I have never seen The Emperors New Groove,
and I have not seen the sequel Kronk's New Groove. So I was very excited
that Family Friendly Gaming was treated to the 2 movie collection The
Emperors New Groove Kronk's New Groove on Blu-ray. Technically it is the
3-disc special edition with both Blu-ray and DVD.
The first movie is all about how selfish the emperor is. He invites a villager to find out how the sun falls on a hill. The reason he asks this is to steal their home and put in a water park just for him. He fires his elderly adviser in a very rude fashion. She tries to poison him but accidentally turns him into a llama. Her evil henchman Kronk is supposed to dispose of the llama.
Kronk has a change of heart and saves the emperor at the last moment. Only to lose him to the same peasant who is about ready to lose his home. The villager helps the emperor as a llama. The emperor slowly learns to think of others before himself. I won't spoil anymore of the movie.
The second movie is all about Kronk. He wants to get a thumbs up from his father. He needs a house on a hill, a wife, and children. Kronk does the right thing repeatedly and it takes those things from him. When his father arrives for a visit he asks others to lie for him. Eventually he realizes he has to tell the truth, and he finds he has all kinds of friends who care for and about him.
The humor in 2 movie collection The Emperors New Groove Kronk's New Groove is extremely high. Everyone here at Family Friendly Gaming was laughing thanks to the 2 movie collection The Emperors New Groove Kronk's New Groove. The voice actors do a marvelous job, and the animation looks great. There are a few moments of peril in both of these movies.
I feel very blessed to have been able to see the 2 movie collection The Emperors New Groove Kronk's New Groove on Blu-ray. It is a shame I missed these movies the first time around. The humor alone is fantastic medicine. Some of us like the first more than the second, and others here like the second more. Both camps agree that both of these movies are great for families.
