I like Hello Kitty. I have liked her for a
long time. I am very excited about Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio
Friends on the Nintendo 3DS. Hello Kitty has been represented in video
games before. In different styles, and genres. This hand held title is a
mini game compilation.
There are six main screens in Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends. On
each screen are different characters. Tap on them to find out what they
do. They may decorate that screen with stickers that girls unlocked by
playing the mini games. Or they could be mini games themselves.
There are only ten mini games in Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends
- which is a bit of a bummer. But they range from playing chess to
cleaning dishes. Maybe Mama did not clean up after herself in her last
Cooking game. The games are easy enough that girls can complete them.
Look I could complete all but one - so that should say something.
The graphics in Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends are alive with
large colors. The music is pleasant, and the special effect sounds are
fantastic. I can still hear sounds from the game in my head. Oh wait
someone else is playing this game now - never mind.
Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends is for girls who are not that
deep into video games. The major replay value will come from decorating
the different screens. Bear in mind the age needed for the 3D. The 3D
effects are okay in Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends. I have seen
better and I have seen worse.
All in all Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends is a cute little game
that does the license justice. Hello Kitty Picnic with Sanrio Friends
has a welcoming nature, and audio to explain what to do in most
instances. I would recommend a basic reading ability to learn how to
control the mini games.
