Dakar 18

I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of Dakar 18 on the Xbox One. It has been a decade and a half since I last saw another Dakar video game. It should have been left in retirement status after this hot mess. Dakar 18 is definitely a serious hot mess. I am not pleased with this particular video game. Dakar 18 is like a Rally game in the desert with no directions. Dakar 18 is also on the Personal Computer (PC), and Playstation 4 (PS4). The publisher for Dakar 18 is Deep Silver, and the Developer is Big Moon Entertainment.

I ran into a variety of graphical glitches in Dakar 18. At times I was going along what looked like a flat area between sand dunes only to bottom out and the navigator yell at me about not being careful. I never saw any kind of gully though. The graphics look okay, and we can lose parts of our vehicle when we hit things, roll the vehicle, and other damaging activities. Expect a full review of Dakar 18 to appear in an upcoming issue of the always amazing Family Friendly Gaming magazine and e-magazine. I recommend families save their money for something better than this game.
