Stranded Without A Phone Receives an Update
January 25, in the year of our Lord 2016 --
Indie game developer and publisher Gilligames is proud to
announce the release of an updated and much improved 2.0 version
of their popular Survival-RPG - Stranded Without A Phone -
available today as a free download via the iOS® digital app
store. The updated game addresses visual issues introduced in
Apple's iOS® 9, and was made free to download when it was
discovered that it didn't function correctly in iOS® 9. The game
will continue to be free for a while. Originally released in
2009 and subsequently relaunched in 2013 with a “Retina
Edition”, the new 2.0 update now also supports non-Retina
devices such as the original iPad Mini, and the end-result is a
beautiful game running in stunning vibrant color and graphics.
Instead of simply fixing the display issue, the entire game has
been re-written and optimized making it easier to add new
features and future content. The first new feature added to the
classic gameplay is the ability to zoom in or out by using two
fingers. Now you can get a closer look at your character or a
wider view of your surroundings. Stranded Without A Phone is
suitable those nine and older according to Apple's rating
system. The descriptors are Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy
Violence. There is also enticement to lust, attired issues in
