Story of Seasons Trio of Towns Announced
Torrance, Calif. – October 3, in the year of our Lord
2016 – XSEED Games, the publishing brand of Marvelous
USA, Inc., today announced that STORY OF SEASONS, the latest
entry in the long-running Bokujo Monogatari farming/life-sim
series that is celebrating its 20-year anniversary, has sold
more than 150,000 units in North America, while Rune Factory 4,
also helmed by Bokujo Monogatari producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto,
has sold in excess of 200,000 units. The milestones for the
Nintendo 3DS™ hand-held system games are being celebrated by the
first permanent price drop to $29.99 SRP since their respective
debuts in March 2015 and October 2013.
The company also announced the exciting introduction of the
capybara pet in the upcoming STORY OF SEASONS: Trio of Towns for
Nintendo 3DS, which will be coming to life as a pre-order bonus.
The loveable capybara “pocket plushie” stands 3.5” tall and will
come with all pre-orders at participating retailers while
supplies last.

Trio of Towns, with each village offering its own variety of
regional crops, lads and ladies to romance, animals, festivals,
furniture, decorations and more. More ways to play sprout up as
players connect to one another locally or via the Internet to
chat, trade, and transform items on a mysterious multiplayer
island. This game has not yet been rated by the ESRB.
