Nintendo Selects Coming in June
May 17, in the year of our Lord 2016 -- For
those who wish to discover a game they may have missed the first
time around, or simply wish to rediscover it, the Nintendo
Selects range and its wide variety of gaming experiences is the
ideal place to start.
There are already over 30 classic titles available to enjoy as
part of the range, including The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between
Worlds and Yoshi's New Island for Nintendo 3DS family systems,
Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii*, and LEGO® CITY Undercover and
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Wii U.
On 24th June, the Nintendo Selects range will be bolstered with
five new additions for Nintendo 3DS family systems, representing
some of the handheld’s most popular titles, having sold a
combined total of over 3 million units across Europe to date**.
The line-up is set to include a wide variety of titles, with
portable worlds to explore:
LEGO® CITY Undercover: The Chase Begins – Step into the shoes of
rookie cop Chase McCain and take him from zero to hero, to
become the super cop he was always destined to be. Explore the
open world of LEGO® CITY as you go undercover to make the
crucial arrests of the city’s crooks, and embark on an epic
quest to bring justice to the whole city!
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D – Link sets off on a
legendary journey through time to stop Ganondorf, the Gerudo
King of Thieves who is seeking the Triforce: a holy relic that
gives its holder ultimate power.
An improved and intuitive interface, coupled with the easier
navigation offered by playing in a world with 3D visuals, give
players better control as they solve puzzles, travel through
time and explore this immersive world. Whether you're a
first-time player or a regular visitor to Hyrule, The Legend of
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a new adventure for everyone.
The new additions to the Nintendo Selects range also include
ways to enjoy Mario on the go:
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. – One day in the Mushroom
Kingdom, a letter arrives from a mysterious Dr. Snoozemore,
inviting Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach to Pi'illo Island. A
free holiday, being offered to our heroes by a complete
stranger? What could possibly go wrong? Alternate between
Luigi’s Dream World and the real world to help Mario and Luigi
solve puzzles, battle enemies, and even interact with creations
of Luigi’s own imagination in order to succeed in this
turn-based RPG adventure!
Paper Mario: Sticker Star – Paper Mario finds himself in another
sticky situation! Take Mario on an exciting paper adventure and
help him repair the mess Bowser has created using the powers of
brand new stickers.
Delivering a new twist and combining a traditional action-battle
system with sticker-based gameplay, make your way through by
flattening characters, rolling out towns, and completing side
missions.
And for players who want to let their creative side shine:
Nintendo presents: New Style Boutique™ – Show off your unique
style and become the town's newest trendsetter! Taking on the
role of assistant at a local fashion store in town, it’s down to
you to rise up through the ranks and earn the coveted position
of boutique owner, influencing style in the community and
shining brightly under the spotlights of the catwalk. There are
around 12,000 items available to choose from, including a
variety of brands, accessories and bags, as well as men's
fashion to contend with. This means that Nintendo presents: New
Style Boutique is set to test your sense of style as well as
your ability to run a store and manage your inventory.
Nintendo 3DS owners can look forward to another way to
experience some classic exclusive games when these five titles
join the Nintendo Selects range across Europe on 24th June.
