Madden NFL 16 Cover Vote Starts

May 4, in the year of our Lord 2015 – The latest edition of the Madden NFL cover vote will see four of the league’s top playmakers competing for the opportunity to grace the cover of Madden NFL 16. This year’s competitors are New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski, Arizona Cardinals Cornerback Patrick Peterson, New York Giants Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver Antonio Brown, each of which have made some spectacular plays and showed up for their team in the biggest moments.

Right now fans can vote on their choice for the cover athlete by playing the repeat-pay-to-play Madden NFL Mobile, as well as Madden Ultimate Team™ in Madden NFL 15. Simply by logging on, Madden NFL Mobile fans get one vote every day, and can earn more votes by completing special Live Events. The more you play the more votes you get! Madden Ultimate Team players will be able to cast one vote for logging in and another four total by playing Solo Challenges.

Voting for the first round will close on Monday, May 11, with the two finalists being revealed on Tuesday, May 12. Fans will then be able to vote for the supreme playmaker throughout the day on Wednesday, May 13 on ESPN.com, with the new Madden NFL 16 cover athlete being announced that same night live during the 6pm ET edition of SportsCenter.

All the competitors in this year’s contest are highlight-making machines, delivering some of the greatest plays on the gridiron every single week. Fans will have the opportunity to create these moments for themselves in Madden NFL 16 and Be the Playmaker in the battle for Air Supremacy. Intuitive new tools for quarterbacks, receivers and defensive backs bring the passing game to new levels, and now the battle between the offense and defense is yours to win.

Madden NFL 16 is developed in Orlando, Florida by EA Tiburon and will be available for Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® games and entertainment system and the PlayStation®3 entertainment system on August 25, 2015. All player participation has been facilitated by NFL Players Inc., the licensing and marketing subsidiary of the NFL Players Association (NFLPA).
