February 13, in the year
of our Lord 2014 -- Satori Iwata starts us out. He
mentions they normally do these in the morning. He thanks us for
coming at this inconvenient time.
A new trailer of Little Mac is shown. He is entering the Super
Smash Bros cast. His boxing training video is intense. He fits
into the ultra violent video game. This game will launch in 2014
on 3DS and Wii U.
3DS games are coming up.
Mario Golf World Tour single player mode Castle Club is shown.
Mii characters are used. Different items are shown as well as
how they customize your look and play style. Coming out May 2,
2014.
Kirby Triple Deluxe - front cover winner of FFG #79. Kirby
abilities are shown. Multiple things can be done with each
ability. Multiple collectibles are in the game, especially the
key chains. The key chains can be gained through Streetpass as
well. As long as you can find someone to Streetpass with. Coming
out May 2, 2014
Yoshi's New Island is next up. Yoshi carries baby Mario on his
back. Get hit and baby Mario goes into a bubble. A timer starts
off - get baby Mario back before it goes out. A massive egg is
shown destroying pipes. Metal massive eggs are also shown. Yoshi
can transform into vehicles, where gyroscope controls are
brought in. Yoshi can also get flutter wings. This is for casual
gamers. Coming out March 14, 2014.
A sequel to Steel Diver will be coming. Families will most
likely pass on this violent first person shooter. Or first
submarine shooter. Nintendo will offer a free version where two
basis submarine types are offered. Paying for the game Steel
Diver Sub Wars unlocks all the content. It is available today.
Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is shown next. The feeling of
batting, pitching, catching, umpiring, and more will be included
in mini games. You download the software from the eShop, and
beat the demo. Then you can purchase the mini games for real
world money. You may be able to lower the prices by giving Rusty
certain items. Coming out this April.
Pokemon Battle Trozei is a match three game. All 700 Pokemon
appear in this puzzle action game. The more you use them, the
more powerful they become. They will be stronger in battles.
Four player co-op play is available. Coming out March 20, 2014.
Erik Peterson comes up next. He brings up Professor Layton and
the Azran Legacy is up next. A video is shown. Emmy Altava is
shown in this Nintendo 3DS hand held video game. She is violent
in attacking men. Coming out February 28, 2014. A Streetpass
component is there to keep you addicted to this game. Treasure
hunt challenges are shown.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is shown in a new video. New actions
allow for new attacks - like climbing hanging vines. Coming to
3DS in 2015.
Weapon Shop de Omasse is shown next. The game joins Level-5 with
a comedian.
Gamers experience the humble life of a RPG blacksmith. Tap the
touch screen at the right times to create weapons. The heroes
success depends on your forging. If the hero fails you do not
get paid. Coming out February 20, 2014.
Inazuma Eleven - a soccer RPG is up next. Mark's grandfather was
on a legendary team. Quite the legacy to live up to. Train at
school. Soccer matches are like tactical sports games. Team
member stats are what determines who wins the soccer matches. It
will appear on the Nintendo 3DS eShop today.
Indie developers are shown off. Jools Watsham from Renegade Kid
show Treasurenauts. Moon Chronicles is shown next. Sean Velasco
from Yacht Club Games shows off Shovel Knight. Tyrone Rodriguez
from Nicalis is up next. He shows off 1001 Spikes. Brian
Provinciano from VBlank shows off Retro City Rampage. A game
families will want to pass on. A plug for Youtube, Facebook, and
Twitter.
Child of Light from Ubisoft is shown off next. Content Family
Friendly Gaming has already shown on our website. A little fairy
helps you in a variety of ways. Coming April 30, 2014.
Back to Mr Iwata. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is shown
in a video. Hardcore gamers are going to love how challenging
this Wii U game is. Coming out February 21, 2014.
Follow up information on NES Remix now. NES Remix 2 is shown.
Later titles are used for this downloadable home console video
game. A new Luigi game will be included. Looks like the original
Mario game but backwards. Coming out April 25, 2014.
Gameboy Advance titles will make their way to the Virtual
Console service in April. Multiple games are shown. With
additional games to be released at a staggered pace.
Mario Kart 8 is shown next. Multiple children of Bowser are
shown in the new trailer. As well as some fantastic karts, and
motorcycles. Coming out May 30, 2014.
A new video from Monolith is shown. Looks pretty violent. One
families will want to pass on.
Bayonetta 2 is the final title being shown. Looks like another
one families will want to pass on.
Looks like Nintendo is trying to target the hardcore gamers with
this Nintendo Direct. Family Friendly Gaming gives a D+ for this
Nintendo Direct.
