GSN wants you for The American Bible Challenge

THE AMERICAN BIBLE CHALLENGE is produced by RelativityREAL for GSN, with RelativityREAL's Tom Forman and Embassy Row's Michael Davies serving as Executive Producers on the project. Nick Stuart and Maura Dunbar of Odyssey Networks are Consulting Producers. Odyssey Networks is the country's largest multi-faith coalition dedicated to producing and distributing media that creates understanding among people of different beliefs and perspectives. Jeff Foxworthy also serves as Producer with J.P. Williams and Jennifer Novak as Executive Producers.

Sesame Street Elmos Musical Monsterpiece Announced

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announces Sesame Street: Elmo's Musical Monsterpiece, an action-filled console and handheld video game encouraging preschoolers to sing, dance, and learn through a series of fun musical games. Based on "Sesame Street," the award-winning children's television series, the learning game will be available for Wii and Nintendo DS in June 2012.

SSX Gets a Little Trickier with New Downloadable Content Available Now

Electronic Arts Inc. announced today the availability of the EA SPORTS SSX Mt. Eddie and Classic Characters DLC packs on Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network. Building upon the successful re-launch of the SSX franchise with 25 review scores of 9/10 or higher, the SSX DLC packs pay homage to the franchise's rich heritage with the SSX Tricky inspired Mt. Eddie, three retro music tracks, and seven classic retro-themed characters from the SSX universe.

First In-App Purchase for Wheres My Water is Live

 

New levels feature most challenging puzzles yet -- expand Where’s My Water? storyline with focus on Cranky, the game’s alpha male alligator and Swampy’s nemesis

January 27, in the year of our Lord 2012 -- Disney Mobile released today “Cranky’s Story,” the first offering of new levels via In-App purchase for Disney’s hit game Where’s My Water?. A “game within the game,” “Cranky’s Story” features 40 new levels of the most difficult and challenging levels yet, and expands the Where’s My Water? storyline to focus on Cranky, the game’s alpha male alligator and Swampy’s nemesis. The “Cranky’s Story” level pack is available today for $0.99 via In-App purchase in both the iOS and Android versions of the game.

“Cranky’s Story” includes two new level chapters called “Cranky’s First Course” and “Hunger Pains.” Players will use new game play mechanics to guide dirty purple water underground to remove algae from Cranky’s plate of “junk food” so he can eat it. “Cranky’s Story” also features four challenges, each of which has three tasks that extend the gameplay by taking players back to existing levels with alternate goals. Players are also treated to new story moments, all new music, new sound effects and fantastic graphics.

“With the first premium level pack for Where’s My Water?, we wanted to give players more of what they love most about this game, including new gameplay and the introduction of a new storyline,” said Bart Decrem, General Manager of Disney Mobile. “Our players have fallen in love with Swampy, so we can’t wait to see how they react to Cranky. And Swampy fans can expect us to continue to update to “Where’s My Water? with additional free levels of the traditional game.”

Since Where’s My Water? launched on the App Store in September of 2011, it has become a favorite among critics and gamers alike. Where’s My Water? has reached the No. 1 spot on the App Store in 68 different countries, and maintained a 5-star user rating. The game also launched on Android platforms in November 2011 where it has enjoyed similar success, and currently resides at #1 on both Android Market and Amazon Appstore for Android. Later this year, Swampy, Disney’s first original character for mobile, will make his debut online in a 12 episode web series called, “Where’s My Water?, the Adventures of Swampy.”

The “Cranky’s Story” level pack is available today for $0.99 via In-App purchase in the both the iOS and Android versions of the paid game.
