Stonedeep Available for Early Access
(Germany, September 21, in the year of our Lord 2021) – Game development studio Direfang, is proud to announce that its upcoming civilization building game, Stonedeep will be released in the beginning of October and currently gamers can get their hands on the keys and take part in shaping the final product. Meant for USK 12+, Stonedeep features hungry dwarfs who must be guided to build an advanced civilization by managing, building and gathering resources.
A 2.5D underground city builder game, Stonedeep grips the player with its rich graphics and plenty of activities. Here dwarfs will gather resources, drink and sleep and fight off monsters who come in myriad shapes and ferocity levels. Colonies built by dwarfs can be specialized into culture, trading, military or production oriented.
“We would like to use Early Access to get feedback from the community, to make a better game. We have a lot to add to the game, so player have more things to explore and to research. Things like: building upgrades, weather, more resources, more buildings and more,” says Nikolai Ostertag, one of the two founding brothers of Direfang. Stonedeep features great many actions and scenarios. As the level of civilization increases (there are nine), the needs too increase, and must be supplied by spreading tunnels, and visiting farms, brewery and other resources. But there are monsters to fend off too.
“We have added interesting features such as tax collection, limited amount of gold coins just like the real world. At the same time, the nature of the game is kept distinct from the real world, and fight scenes too are distinct from the real world,” says Nikolai.
At its current status, Stonedeep has 80 resources, 5 biomes, 8 types of adversaries, and over 70 buildings. The treatment is comic-like and fairytale in ambience. The game can be played on Windows 7 and upwards. Direfang currently consists of two twin brothers, Jannik and Nikolai.
