Tabletop Playground Announced
Melbourne, Australia - February 6th, in the year of our Lord 2020 - Modularity Games, the games publisher from the creators of ModDB/IndieDB, has partnered with Plasticity Studios to publish their debut game, Tabletop Playground. A modern take on digital tabletop gaming, Tabletop Playground is coming to PC in Q2 2020.
Built on Unreal Engine 4, experience digital tabletop gaming like never before with realistic physics and satisfying controls. Recreate and modify classic games or build your own and share them with the world. Utilize specialized tools to play niche and complex game genres with up to 8 players online, all in Tabletop Playground. Featuring an easy to use in-game editor, players can create intricate and original games without any programming or game development experience. While JavaScript scripting support allows players to define complex rules and actions, meaning you’re only limited by your creativity.

While Robert Pröpper, the developer behind Tabletop Playground, spoke on the partnership saying , "Mods made by players are at the heart of the game, and Modularity Games has the experience and knowledge to ensure that they can shine".
Players can start creating games for Tabletop Playground right now as part of the Creator’s Program, an early access initiative started in December which utilises mod.io. Interested creators can sign up for the program through the game's Discord.
