Save the Dodos is hatching on Steam
April 20th, in the year of our Lord 2016 -- Dutch publisher
SOEDESCO announced that Save the Dodos will be released on Steam
on 4.22.2016. Save The Dodos is a charming game wherein players
have to save the eponymous Dodos from extinction by smartly
guiding them through levels in different eras and locales.
The goal of Save the Dodos is to avert the tragic fate of the
Dodo species. By guiding the Dodos through the levels the player
might save enough of them to prevent total extinction, but he
doesn’t control the Dodos directly. Through changes in the
layout of the levels routes can be formed that traverse the
birds to the end point of each level. Along the way players must
solve puzzles and conquer other obstacles. Players can also
utilize four special Dodos, such as the soldier and ghost Dodo,
to help them solve certain challenges.
Save the Dodos features four modes across multiple locales and
settings, such as the Ancient Greece, the Viking Era or the Wild
West. The game now also features Steam trading cards. Save the
Dodos gets its first worldwide release on 4.22.2016 and will be
available for $2.99/£1,99/€2,99 on Steam, with an additional 40%
discount in the week after release.
