Epic Word Search Collection Coming to 3DS
Stoke-on-Trent, UK, July 16, in the year of our Lord
2015 – Lightwood Games is excited to announce their
latest word puzzle game on the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS.
"Epic Word Search Collection" is scheduled for release in Europe
on 16th July 2015 and in North America on 23rd July.
Epic Word Search Collection brings together five of Lightwood’s
"epic" puzzles. Each one is a giant scrolling monster of a word
search, with around 1,500 words hidden in a massive grid of more
than 14,000 letters.
Use the D-Pad or Circle Pad to move around the puzzle, then tap
and drag with the stylus to select a word. The upper screen
shows which words are hidden in the visible section.
Players who activate StreetPass™ can share their progress with
others and will be able to see how they are doing compared to
players they meet!
The sheer size of a puzzle means it takes even the most avid
word puzzler about ten hours to complete each one! Fortunately,
the game loads quickly so you can pick up right where you left
off whenever you have a spare moment.
The five puzzles included are:
Epic Food Word Search, featuring words from breakfast to
dessert, the produce of butchers and bakers, with seasonings and
sauces!
Epic Movie Word Search, which hides sixteen classic movies
suitable for the whole family. Just add popcorn!
Epic Rock Word Search - for those about to rock! Sing along with
some classic anthems! Guitars! Drums! NOISE!
Epic Sports Word Search scores a home run, a hole in one, a
touchdown, or whatever sporting metaphor you prefer.
Epic TV Word Search, with more than a dozen different TV
channels, there are over 1,700 different words to find - and no
re-runs!
A specialist developer of word games, Lightwood Games has
released several mobile apps in the genre, including Word Search
Party, a multiplayer puzzle game for iPhone and iPad which has
been downloaded nearly two million times.
In March, the studio made its debut on Nintendo platforms with
the release of Word Search By POWGI for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U™.
Expanding upon the multi-player word search format introduced by
this game, Lightwood is bringing Word Party - with 30 word
puzzle mini-games - to Wii U later this year.
Epic Word Search Collection is available on the Nintendo eShop
in Europe priced €7.99 / £5.99. North American release is
scheduled for July 23rd priced at $7.99.
