Run Sheldon speeds its way onto the App Store
Barcelona, ES - April 11, in the year of our Lord 2013
- Independent developer Bee Square today announced the debut of
Sheldon the Tortoise in its new game Run Sheldon, a free to
download game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Run Sheldon! is a
fast-paced, addictive action runner in which players have to
help Sheldon the tortoise race to victory and outwit an endless
stream of hares who will do anything to stop him.
Inspired by the classic fable “The Tortoise and the Hare”, the
game begins after the Hare Gang, unhappy about losing the race,
decide to get their trophy back from Sheldon, the triumphant
tortoise. Playing as Sheldon, gamers must guide the hero as far
as they possibly can across a series of immersive environments
whilst collecting coins that can be used to upgrade Sheldon’s
appearance and abilities. Some of the locations that Sheldon
must negotiate in his adventures include lush grassland, pools,
waterfalls, floating platforms and jungles. Run Sheldon!

To help Sheldon the tortoise in his adventures, Run Sheldon!
features a wide array of amazing power-ups and items to help him
run, fly, bounce and swim his way to freedom. All coins
collected in the game can be used in the store to upgrade
Sheldon’s power-ups, as well as purchase extra clothing and
lives. Players are also given an endless stream of challenges to
complete in order to serve up that ‘just one more go’ factor in
spades.
