Announcing SECRETS OF RAETIKON

An aerial exploration game

July 9, in the year of our Lord 2013 -- Broken Rules, the indie developer behind award winning game And Yet It Moves and the Wii U launch title Chasing Aurora present their new game: SECRETS OF RĘTIKON, an aerial exploration game in three chapters. With SECRETS OF RĘTIKON, Broken Rules continues its tradition of creating games with rich physical interaction in an unusual setting.

In this exploration game set in the alpine mountains, the player unlocks the secrets of the world around him one by one. Flying freely through a rugged landscape, he encounters wild animals and remnants of an ancient civilisation. Whether the player engages in combat or solves the mysteries of the world peacefully is up to her.

Broken Rules has worked on SECRETS OF RĘTIKON since early 2011. The game design started at the idea of simulating the kind of flight that one experiences in dreams. Conclusively, SECRETS OF RĘTIKON is a game for anyone who has ever dreamed of flying.

KEY FEATURES
SET YOUR OWN PACE – Players with different skills or playing styles can set the pace of their exploration on their own.
EXPANSIVE AND VARIED ENVIRONMENTS – Hills, forests, snowy mountain tops and lightning storms. The world of RĘTIKON is full of variety.
A LIVING BREATHING WORLD – The animals the player encounter interact with each other as well as the player. He can lure them, feed them, tease them or let them loose on each other. We don't recommend fooling around with a lynx, though.
