THQ RELEASES ITS SECOND CONTENT UPDATE FOR MARVEL SUPER HERO SQUAD: THE INFINITY GAUNTLET FOR XBOX LIVE & PLAYSTATION NETWORK

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. – Feb. 15, 2011 – Arch-villain Thanos joins Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk and the Super Hero Squad as THQ keeps the fun alive in Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet with a new downloadable content (DLC) available now for Xbox 360® and PlayStation®3 systems, titled “The Thanos Throwdown.”

Players can duke it out in two new challenge maps ― Combat Crater and Mayhem Marathon ― and one new freeplay map, Trials of Thanos. To keep the battle raging, the intergalactic baddie himself, Thanos, becomes a playable character for the first time ever in an action-adventure game. Spar in the Rumpus Room of the mighty Thanos and play through the game as the wicked overlord himself.

Add to this a host of new Xbox 360 achievements and PlayStation®Network trophies, and the fun of Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet continues to flourish.

“The Thanos Throwdown” downloadable pack is available for a suggested price of $4.99 on PlayStation 3 and 400 Microsoft points for the Xbox 360.
