Monkonomix Premiers on the App Store
MUMBAI, India - November 11, in the year of our Lord
2011 -- Big Boot Games, an indie iOS game developer,
today announced that its cute puzzler Monkonomix is available
now for iPhone and iPod Touch. The game follows a monkey and his
father on an epic quest to gather rare gems for the Monkey
King’s three queens. To collect the special gems the monkey
queens desire, players will solve puzzles using a unique blend
of physics, color matching and line drawing, all set on animated
jungle stages. Monkonomix can be downloaded from the App Store
for $0.99.
Help the monkey complete his simian sovereign’s task by creating
rubies, emeralds and other gems and dropping them in his basket,
but watch out that you don’t use too many gems and crush the
poor monkey! Tilt your device to balance the basket’s load and
aim to avoid smashing other gems. Later stages add new gameplay
elements to the mix, including explosive fireflies, and a
special bonus level can be unlocked by beating the second stage.
Monkonomix’s key features include:
• Innovative puzzles with subtle physics – create gems of
different colors, sizes and shapes and drop them into monkey’s
basket. Tilt your device to balance monkey’s basket and make
sure he doesn’t get overloaded!
• 30 puzzles over three stages, with six animated backgrounds to
enjoy
• Each stage adds a unique gameplay twist:
-Draw and drop gems into the monkey’s basket in Gem of Light
-Create new gems in the monkey’s basket by mixing colors in Fire
Stone
-Time your gem drops to avoid explosive fireflies in Lunar Rook
• Cute monkeys! Stages are livened up with banter between
banana-loving monkeys. Monkey and his father have a lot to say
to each other!
• Power-ups for special bonuses.
• Bonus level - unlocked after the second stage, the bonus level
allows players to create dynamic patterns and unleash their
creativity!
