Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 Now Available on New Platforms

El Segundo, Calif. – November 21, in the year of our Lord 2011 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced the football favorite Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is now available in the Americas for PlayStation®2, Nintendo Wii™ and PlayStation®Portable. These versions of the game succeed the PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® versions of the game that came out in September.

"We would like to thank fans for their ongoing support of the Pro Evolution Soccer franchise by providing them the opportunity to enjoy the latest installment on more platforms," said Shinji Hirano, President of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "We want all gamers to have the opportunity to play Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, so we're bringing it to as many platforms as possible."

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, Santos' main striker player, is joined by Cristiano Ronaldo as featured box cover athlete for Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. With enhanced modes and non-spinning knuckle shots made available for the PlayStation®Portable and PlayStation®2, as well as co-op play made possible on the PlayStation®Portable, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 invites users to test their mettle against the world's biggest clubs amidst the game's biggest stages.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 also continues KONAMI's exclusive partnership with UEFA that sees the Pro Evolution Soccer series as the exclusive home of the UEFA Champions League. In addition, KONAMI also has the Copa Santander Libertadores license. Attention to detail within these key tournaments has been extended to the match officials, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 will see referees and their assistants dressed in the official kits of the competitions.

KONAMI also recently launched a Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 website in the Americas at www.canyouplaypes.com. This website serves as a hub of activity and information for all Pro Evolution Soccer fans, where they can have access to UEFA Champions League and Copa Santander Libertadores news feeds, Pro Evolution Soccer trailers and screenshots, news, events, social media handles and more.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB and is now available on PlayStation®2, Nintendo Wii™ and PlayStation®Portable for purchase at retailers nationwide for an SRP of $19.99.
