Konami Announces Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights Now Available

Brain Bending, Puzzle Solving Adventure Game for Nintendo 3DS Hits Retail Stores in
Time For The Christmas Season!

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – December 20, in the year of our Lord 2011 – Today, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. announced Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is available in retail stores nationwide. A perfect Christmas stocking stuffer and made exclusively for the revolutionary Nintendo 3DS handheld device, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is the eye-popping puzzle solving adventure game that combines challenging riddles, exploration, imminent danger and history to create an exciting narrative.

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights drops players in 19th century Paris, France – on a mission to uncover the hidden treasures of Louis XIV. As players assume the identity of the wily archaeologist Doctor Jean-Pierre Lautrec, they learn quickly this isn't the normal excavation once the presence of Jacques-Marie Vidocq arrives and his goons soon begin to give chase. Armed with his over-zealous assistant, Sophie, an antiquated map and a lot of luck, Doctor Lautrec finds himself in a perilous race in the Parisian underworld, surrounded by bad guys, all of who are on the hunt for the same long lost treasure.

The heart of Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights lies in the challenging puzzles players encounter along the journey. Using the power of the Nintendo 3DS, players will see a whole new level of game play as 3D imagery gives new challenges. Solve puzzles that might require memory recollection, while others will challenge the player's spatial relationships or possibly discerning repetitive objects within a picture. Designed to uncover the inner sleuth in you, the puzzles get increasingly difficult as players progress throughout the underworld. Vivid imagery and a fun art style give players hours of rich and engaging gaming with a captivating storyline and intriguing characters.

Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is available in retail stores nationwide on the Nintendo 3DS for the SRP of $29.99.
