Jetpack Tests Dives Onto iOS Devices Today
TARZANA, Calif. - Nov. 10, in the year of our Lord 2011
- Set in the gorgeous yet dystopian city of Caen and the skies
beneath it, Jetpack Tests tells the coming-of-age story of
Arreon, the hero from indie developer Game Mechanic Studios's
High Flyer Death Defyer. Focusing on the
inventor-turned-adventurer's younger days, Jetpack Tests
introduces players to the free falling action of High Flyer
Death Defyer for only $0.99, and is now available for download
on all iOS platforms from the iTunes App Store.
To celebrate Jetpack Tests release, Game Mechanic Studios is
also having a sale through Thanksgiving for both the iPhone and
iPad versions of High Flyer Death Defyer, discounting the game
to $1.99 and $2.99 respectively.
Jetpack Tests, like its predecessor High Flyer Death Defyer, is
a frantically paced "avoider" style action game that has players
plummeting past floating cities and collecting treasures while
mastering Arreon's prototype jetpack. With all 17 jetpack test
missions from High Flyer Death Defyer plus 23 new tests, the
game captures the addictive freefalling mechanic and charming
aesthetic that drew players to HFDD in a lighter, budget-priced
app.
