2K Play Announces Carnival Games Wild West 3D
NEW YORK – September 12, in the year of our Lord 2011
– 2K Play today announced Carnival Games® Wild West 3D, the
first Carnival Games® title designed exclusively for the
Nintendo 3DS. This newest entry expands the family entertainment
franchise that has sold-in nearly 8 million units worldwide
across the Wii™ system, Nintendo DS™, Kinect™ for Xbox 360® and
iOS. Currently in development by Cat Daddy Games, the creative
team behind the previous Carnival Games® titles, Carnival Games®
Wild West 3D will launch during the 2011 holiday season and will
feature 25 all-new Western-themed games and attractions built
from the ground up to take full advantage of the 3DS’ 3D, motion
and gyro sensor capabilities.
Carnival Games® Wild West 3D will offer:
Quick draw action and adventure in Shooting Gallery, Card Skeet,
Showdown, Critter Attack, Trapper’s Delight, and Roger Dodger;
Wild West endurance games, including Ricochet, Outlaw Wrangler,
Git the Gold, Strong Arm, and Posse vs. Bandits;
Games of chance and humor, such as Wild West Slots, Treasure
Map, Quarter Drop, Blindman’s Bluff, and Nugget Falls;
Deeds! – once completed, players can earn sidekicks, including
rattlesnakes and armadillos;
Hundreds of jump-off-the-screen 3D prizes, loot, special quests,
and state-of-the-art Streetpass™ Communications;
3DS Augmented Reality (AR) functionality;
Collection of Western-themed wearables to customize characters.
